She is charged with one first-degree felony count of aggravated murder, as well as three second-degree felony counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Eric died of a Fentanyl overdose on March 4th, 2022. After his death, Kouri wrote a book for children called “Are You With Me?” about a child who loses a parent.
